USA Today reports that the "'Nones' now 15% of population".
By the way, 15% = ~45,573,696 people.
To put this in perspective, the population of the United Kingdom = ~61,000,000.
They also have a nifty set of interactive state-by-state charts.
Apparently 34% claim "none" in Vermont, which went 68% to Obama, but 53% for it's Republican governor. It's also 98% white. It was also voted the "smartest state".
I love New England, but I'm not sure I could live in VT.
