Width: Feels true to width

Pros: Durable, Comfortable, Stylish

Cons: Need Break In

Best Uses: Wear To Work

Describe Yourself: Style Driven, Comfort Driven

My work requires that I be on my feet for extended periods of time. Aching feet at the end of the night had driven me to find a solution. I'd tried numerous inserts over the years but *knew* that I needed to try a good, quality pair of shoes. Research lead me to try Johnston & Murphy.

I was highly impressed with the material and build of the shoe, and the salesman's knowledge helped ease my price-driven anxiety about the purchase.

After the first day I honestly started to have some buyer's remorse. The shoes weren't quite as comfy as they had been in the store. But the salesman explained the breaking in process to me so I decided to be patient. It paid off. By the end of the week I realized I was no longer uncomfortable. Without inserts of any kind. The shoes fit well and feel great. Best of all? They are holding up spectacularly.

It is recommended that you have two pair to alternate, storing the off pair with good, cedar shoetrees and maintaining a polishing routine. J&M offers quality products for this maintenance and the salesman was also very helpful in clearly and fully explaining the process.

Overall I am quite satisfied with my purchase and experience, and I plan to buy a second pair soon.
